Social Security Home Loan with GH Bank, maximum credit limit 2 million baht

 


Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor, talked about the home loan for insured persons under Social Security Section 33, Section 39 and Section 40 to have a place to live at the Ministry of Labor. "The Social Security Fund Office has deposited 10 billion baht with the GHB, which will then lend to insured persons under Sections 33, 39 and 40, not exceeding 2 million baht per person," said Mr. Pipat.

Conditions for a home loan with Social Security with the GHB, low interest rate

Approved insured persons will receive a special interest rate, divided into 3 periods:

Period 1: First 5 years, interest rate 1.59% per year

Period 2: Years 6-8, MRR interest rate -2.00% per year

Period 3: Year 9 until the contract period, MRR interest rate -0.50% per year

The current MRR interest rate of GH Bank is 6.545% per year.

Maximum loan amount 2,000,000 baht, starting installment 4,000 baht

Insured persons with social security can apply for a loan of up to 2 million baht per person, with a starting installment of 4,000 baht per month, covering 3 types of loans:

1. Buying a house

2. Buying land to build a house

3. Repairing a house

If the loan amount exceeds 2 million baht, the interest rate of other loan products of the bank can be used. The loan application can be submitted until December 30, 2025 or when the bank has provided a loan of up to the project's credit limit.

When will the GHB Social Security Home Loan be open?

This project will start on November 1, 2024 - December 30, 2025 or until the 10 billion baht credit line is full.

Mr. Pipat stated that if there are many interested parties, when the 10 billion baht credit line is used up, the Social Security will submit it to the board to request an additional credit line, which does not end with just the 10 billion baht. When it is used up, the Social Security will submit it to the board again to request an additional credit line.
