Representatives of victims from abroad filed a complaint that they were victims of The Icon Group, who ordered products to sell but did not receive them.

 


Today (19 Oct 2014) in front of the Crime Suppression Division, Mr. Itthidet Thanesawatan, representative of the foreign victims, brought a cash bill for ordering products from The Icon Group Co., Ltd., which had the products sold abroad, and a photo of the victim posing with Mr. Waratphon Woratworakul or Paul, to Pol. Lt. Col. Prinya Pala, Deputy Superintendent (Investigation), Division 1, Consumer Protection Police Division, to file a complaint against the group of executives of The Icon Group Co., Ltd.

The representative of the foreign victims revealed that today they traveled as a representative of Thai and foreign victims in more than 10 countries, including China, Hong Kong, Macau, Italy, Germany, Canada, Estonia, and Luxembourg. Most of the victims did not want to become a master network but actually wanted to sell their products. The damages were that they transferred money to pay for products to be sold but did not receive them, and were informed by the merchants in Thailand to wait for the products first, but while waiting, they still did not receive them.

The majority of the victims were merchants who liked to sell Thai products abroad and accidentally advertised through an app on Facebook. In addition, they saw that Boss Dara was in the company, which made them want to sell the products abroad. There were over 40 victims, divided into 20 Asians and 20 Europeans. The total damage was over 20 million baht. In the past, it was found that some of the victims had met Boss Paul and Boss Dara abroad.

This creates confidence, as most of the groups of victims are merchants who like to take Thai products to sell abroad and accidentally advertise through the app on Facebook. In addition, they saw that Boss Dara was in the company, which made them want to take the products to sell abroad. There are over 40 victims, divided into 20 Asians and 20 Europeans. The value of the damages is over 20 million baht. In the past, it was found that some of the victims had met Boss Paul and Boss Dara abroad, which created confidence.

Pol. Lt. Col. Prinya Pala, Deputy Director (Investigation), Division 1, Consumer Protection Police Division, revealed that the case is an extraterritorial case. After receiving the documents, they will be considered for legal action. He confirmed that the report can be filed without any deadline.
